Sectional patch repairs
Not every damaged sewer justifies lining end to end. When the survey shows one cracked length, a single root entry at a joint, or an isolated fracture in an otherwise serviceable line, a sectional patch, a short fibreglass and resin sleeve positioned over the defect on a packer and cured in place, repairs precisely what is broken and nothing more.

A single defect on a young or otherwise sound line, a localised root entry the survey shows to be the only one, or a budget that wants the failure fixed now with the option of fuller renewal later. Patches also close off redundant junctions left by removed fixtures.
Wastewater surfacing at gullies, floor wastes or garden level is a health hazard: keep children and pets away, wear gloves for any contact with affected items, and ventilate rooms where sewage has entered. Repeated surcharging during heavy rain can indicate a problem in Sydney Water's network rather than your private line, worth reporting before paying for private works.
