CIPP lining
Full-length relining
Where defects run the length of a line, the typical fate of earthenware laid last century, a full-length liner renews the whole run in one operation. The felt or fibreglass sleeve is saturated with resin on site, drawn or inverted through the cleaned pipe, inflated against the walls, and cured by hot water, steam or UV light into a continuous new pipe.

Timing
When it's needed
Multiple fracture zones or root entries spread across a run, ovalled or crazed earthenware, or a line that has been patched more than once already. Full-length work suits pipes that still hold their alignment, a collapsed or badly dropped section needs excavation at that point first.
Wastewater surfacing at gullies, floor wastes or garden level is a health hazard: keep children and pets away, wear gloves for any contact with affected items, and ventilate rooms where sewage has entered. Repeated surcharging during heavy rain can indicate a problem in Sydney Water's network rather than your private line, worth reporting before paying for private works.
